Sammie's 19th Birthday!

We went to Crystal Jade Noodles & Tim Sum restaurant at Junction 8. This was the day before we flew to Korea. Sam was sick, and Sin Joo got an eye injury. Talk about suay-ness. Nonetheless, we still met up to celebrate Sam's 19th birthday.

With the birthday girl who was suffering from food poisoning. Still, managed to smile for the camera! Never fail to be cheerful:)

Joo and I. The poor girl who got her eye injured by some particle. Couldn't wear contact lenses for 2 weeks. So devastated because everyone wants to look nice especially when we are overseas taking photos.

Shall quote what she posted on Facebook and the story she told everyone:
"Tok Sin Joo
Went to the doctor and im diagnosed that some foreign object entered my eye and there's some scratch from rubbing :/ damn cool that the infected parts turned green after putting this orange strip into my eye. like some chem test we used to do. the thingy was removed with a needle and im looking like a one eye patched monster now :)"

Her birthday present from Sin Joo, Cheng, Keith, Richard, Yong Han and I. Wrapped by Sin Joo. Haha. She was quite proud of the wrapping, which I thought was well done:)

Marc By Marc Jacobs Watch! We should have recorded her reaction down. She was so ecstatic.

The watch was stunning I must say. Sam loved it. Sin Joo knew that Sam reserved it at work and so she got this watch that Sam loved so much for her birthday. PERFECT.

Each of us ordered a bowl of noodles. We ordered 2 baskets of this too. Xiao Long Bao. Pork Dumplings. That was my first time trying Xiao Long Bao. LOVE IT.

Of course, I baked Sam a Strawberry Birthday Cake. Topped with Strawberries dipped in Dark Chocolate.






About 2 slices of cake was left, so I asked Joo to bring it home. I was glad that everyone liked the cake.
